An extraordinary education begins with being truly known.

Your child brings a question they genuinely care about. We design a 10-week project around it, weaving in math, English and science, and mentor them through it live, one to one, within a biblical worldview. Our first five US families work with founder Kale Kneale himself.

The difference
A curriculum that changes as your child does. Because Kale writes the curriculum himself, he can adapt and rewrite it with your child as the project unfolds: new tasks when they race ahead, more support when something is hard, a new direction when their question grows. Most programs can’t change their materials once they’re printed. Ours change every week.

Thinking, not just knowing

Taught to weigh the evidence. Ready to defend what they believe.

Every week, your child tests claims, reads real sources and explains their reasoning out loud. They learn to tell a good argument from a popular one, and to hold their convictions with confidence.

  1. Claim Check

    Test a popular claim

Every week includes a popular claim to test. Your child predicts, gathers the evidence and decides whether it holds up.

From the Color project: “The sky is blue because it reflects the ocean.” True or false?

  2. Reading Room

    Read real sources

Cited texts with graded questions: what happened, what it means, and how we know.

From the Color project: the story of Isaac Newton’s prism experiments.

  3. Make & defend

    Defend it out loud

In live sessions your child explains their thinking and answers questions, building to a final exhibition they present and defend.

From the Color project: a 10-exhibit Color Lab, presented in Week 10.

Your child’s learning journey

From a question to a finished piece of work.

One question, every subject: math, English, science and Scripture woven into a single 10-week project. Every iProject follows the same path. What changes is everything inside it.

  1. Meet

A conversation with you and your child. Your mentor learns their interests, strengths, gaps and goals.

  2. Design

We design a bespoke 10-week project around their question, mapping math, English, science and more into it.

  3. Mentor

Live 60-minute 1:1 sessions online. Your child is guided, challenged and known by name.

  4. Create

Between sessions they research, build and write in their iProject workbook, then bring it back for feedback.

  5. Present

A final presentation to a real audience, a portfolio of work, and a plan for what comes next.

Faith at the center

A biblical worldview, in every project.

Faith isn’t a separate subject here. Every iProject is built on the conviction that your child is made in God’s image, and that everything they study belongs to His world.

Read our full statement of faith
  1. 01

    Scripture in every project

Every project has a Scripture thread. Each week’s Kingdom Lens connects the learning to God’s Word, so faith and rigorous thinking grow together.

  2. 02

    Discipleship, not just academics

Every session follows Responsive Discipleship Learning™, Kale’s faith-immersive teaching method: learning follows your child’s questions, and faith runs through every lesson. Learning shapes who your child is becoming, not just what they know.

  3. 03

    Parents stay in charge

You approve the project topic before anything begins. You get a summary after every session, and every session is recorded, so you can ask to see any of them.

Our full statement of faith
Scripture

We believe in the doctrinal infallibility and historicity of the original manuscripts of the Old and New Testaments.

The Triune God

We hold to the God of Israel as the One true God, a Triune God in three persons of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

Salvation

Salvation is by God’s grace alone through faith in Christ alone; new birth comes by repentance and faith in Jesus as the only provision for sin.

Atonement

Jesus died on the cross, making a full and satisfactory atonement for man’s sin.

Humanity & the Fall

Humanity and creation are fallen; no one can justify themselves before a perfect God.

Genesis & Origins

Genesis 1–11 records actual history; creation days were six consecutive 24-hour days; a global flood occurred in Noah’s day; we reject attempts to fit evolution or millions of years into Genesis.

Human Life & Dignity

Male and female reflect God’s image; life begins at conception; abortion and euthanasia violate the sanctity of life; there is one human race with equal dignity for all.

Marriage & Gender

Marriage is between one man and one woman; gender and biological sex are equivalent and cannot be separated.

Parents & Education

Parents are responsible to bring up children in the nurture and admonition of the Lord.

Israel & the Nations

Gentiles who place their faith in Jesus are grafted into God’s covenant people through faith, sharing in the blessings of God’s promises alongside believing Jews, as described in Romans 11. God’s covenant with Israel is irrevocable, and His redemptive purposes include Israel’s preservation, regathering, and future salvation.

Return of Christ

We hold to a pre-millennial return of Christ, when He will establish His millennial Kingdom on earth.

Unity & Separation

We seek Spirit-led unity with Bible-based evangelicals while rejecting ecumenism with groups holding a different gospel or authority.

Creation & Climate

God promises the continuance of seasons despite climate changes.

Justice & Cultural Theories

We reject modern forms of social justice, intersectionality, and critical race theory as anti-biblical and destructive to human flourishing.

Mentorship, not tutoring

Not just someone who teaches your child. Someone who takes the time to know them.

Before he mentored children one to one, Kale toured Australia, Asia and the US, including the Vans Warped Tour, as the drummer in New Empire. He has since spent more than 15 years in education, including as an educational leader at one of Australia’s top private schools, and holds a Master of International Education.

He founded iProject International to give each child the one-to-one attention the best schools rarely can. Now based in North Carolina with his wife and children, he will personally mentor our first five US families.

Our US launch

The Founding Five.

Five families. Five personal partnerships.

We’re inviting just five US families to become the founding chapter of iProject International. As a Founding Family, you’ll work personally with Kale to design and guide a learning experience around your child’s interests, strengths and potential.

This is more than access to a program. It’s a personal educational relationship, built on thoughtful mentorship, meaningful projects and a shared commitment to helping your child thrive.

  1. Direct access to the founderPersonal mentorship and educational guidance from Kale Kneale.
  2. Bespoke learning designAn iProject developed around your child’s interests, goals and learning needs.
  3. A curriculum that adapts every weekKale adapts and rewrites the workbook and tasks with your child as they grow. Few programs can offer this.
  4. Personal discovery and planningA dedicated conversation to understand your child and set meaningful learning priorities.
  5. Ongoing parent partnershipPersonal communication and regular opportunities to review your child’s learning journey.
  6. Founding Family recognitionA chance to help shape the early US experience through your feedback.
Kale Kneale with his wife and two young children

“After years of working alongside young people and their families, one thing has become increasingly clear to me: the most meaningful learning happens when a child is genuinely known, understood and challenged.

As we bring iProject International to the United States, I want to begin personally with five families. I’ll work closely with each family to understand their child, design a meaningful learning journey, and mentor them as they turn their interests into something extraordinary.

This is how I believe education should feel: personal, purposeful and full of possibility.”

A parent’s story · 1:37

“She’s got a love for learning again.”

Martene’s 13-year-old daughter is mentored one to one through iProject International. Her family has learned on the road, across Australia and overseas. Here’s what changed, in Martene’s own words.

Martene · iProject parent, Gold Coast, Australia

We’ve done distance education and homeschooling before, but this is different.

Read the transcript

Hello, my name is Martene, and I’m from the Gold Coast, Australia. I just want to share our experience since putting our 13-year-old daughter in iProject International. She’s absolutely thriving. It’s re-engaged her, and she’s got a love for learning again.

We’ve done distance education and homeschooling before, but this is different. How she’s showing up, her excitement, how Kale is able to open her up and bring out her ideas and keep her accountable has just been so refreshing.

Kale caters it to what they want to learn. You get a weekly report, so you know exactly where they’re at, how they’re going, and just seeing the independence and the ownership.

She rang me yesterday. I’m currently away for work, and she’s learning Italian and she is so excited about that. She’s doing programs on nutrition that go along with her gym, so she actually wants to do it, and Kale is phenomenal.

We spent three years traveling Australia during COVID. And what it does is enable us, regardless of where we are and what’s happening, she’s still able to keep on track. And it’s taken the pressure off us, knowing that we have someone supporting her needs, what excites her and what she wants to learn about. So we can step out of the teacher role, focus and put more energy into that quality time and magic moment with the kids.

This is the best program that we’ve seen, if you’re looking for something that’s not conventional mainstream school. And so I 100% recommend.

Edited for length from a longer recording. Martene’s family is part of our Australian iProject community.

Questions US families ask

Before you take the next step.

Still wondering about something? Ask Kale directly.

Book a 15- or 30-minute call
Is an iProject a full curriculum or a supplement?

It can be either. A Mentored iProject integrates math, English, science and more into one 10-week project, so it can sit at the center of your child’s learning. Some families pair it with other curriculum. We’ll talk through how it fits your child’s whole week in your consultation.

Is online 1:1 mentorship really worth it?

What you’re investing in is not screen time. It’s a project designed for your child alone, an educator who knows them, and work they’re proud to present. The live session is the only part that needs a screen. Most of the work is hands-on: building, writing, experimenting and presenting, away from the computer.

How often will my child meet their mentor?

Founding Partnership and Founding Year families meet Kale live, 1:1 and online, for 60 minutes once a week. Partnership Plus families meet him twice a week. Educator-led families meet their iProject educator weekly for 60 minutes. Need more? You can request extra 1:1 session time, subject to availability. After every session, you get a summary straight to your inbox. Project work continues between sessions.

What ages is iProject for?

Our 1:1 iProjects are for students aged 8 to 17. Each project is pitched to your child’s level, so we look at readiness together in your consultation.

What if it isn’t working out? Can we cancel?

Yes. You can cancel within the first two weeks of any 10-week project. You pay for five weeks (half the project), and we refund the rest. For example, on the $3,500 Founding Partnership you would pay $1,750 and receive $1,750 back. After the first two weeks, the full project fee applies.

What if it isn’t the right fit for my child?

That’s what the consultation is for. If iProject isn’t right for your child, Kale will tell you honestly, and point you toward what might be.

Where does the learning happen?

Sessions run live online, one to one. Your child’s workbook is a Google Doc (plus a printable copy), and their project space and mentor messages live on Mighty Networks, a trusted learning platform. Session summaries come to you by email.

Is this an Australian program?

iProject International began in Australia, where projects are still running. Our founder, Kale Kneale, and his family have now relocated to North Carolina. For US families, iProject is delivered by The Transformation Network LLC, a separate US company, with sessions in US time zones and pricing in USD.

What do we receive for our homeschool records?

Every project includes a digital and printable workbook, a portfolio of real work, a parent guide and a homeschool registration pack to support your state’s reporting. Requirements vary by state; you remain your child’s home educator and responsible for compliance. As an independent program, we don’t issue official transcripts or accreditation.

Is my child safe in online sessions?

Every educator undergoes a background check. Every session is recorded and kept on file for safety and security, and parents can access any recording on request.

Do projects use AI?

Only where it serves the learning, and always responsibly. When a project uses AI tools, the student does the thinking and makes the decisions.

Can we use ESA funds?

Yes, in Arizona: we’re an approved vendor for Arizona’s Empowerment Scholarship Account (ESA) program. We’re working on approval in more states. If you’re outside Arizona, contact us before you enroll and we’ll tell you where your state stands.
